Infatuation
Infatuation

Infatuation

Open conversations
Closed doors
Eyeful noises
Smelling the whispers in the air
Sweetly distasteful
Unpleasant risks
Smart foolish actions
Playfully urgent matters
Worth the effort
One touch can kill

Eyes wide shut
Unselfishly selfish
Bright smiles in obscurity
World down side up
No belonging rules
Angry envy
One small difference
Violin comes to an end
Open doors
Closed conversations

I wrote this poem in 2008 when I was in high school. Infatuation was also published and won 3rd place for my age group.
